So, why not run for more than fitness and health?
Having already completed the Great North Run, (there is a hint of the North East in his accent) Paul was delighted to have been accepted to take part in the Virgin Money London Marathon which is taking place on Sunday 28 April 2019.
Paul also decided that his four hours (ok, maybe five or six hours) of sweat and toil might entice some of his friends and business associates to dig deep and help him raise money to donate to Enham Trust.
Based in Hampshire, the Enham Trust is a disability charity that provides services to people across the South of the UK. Each year it helps over 6500 disabled people focus on individual abilities, enabling them to live a life of independence, choice and control.
Over almost 100 years Enham Trust has facilitated opportunities for hundreds of thousands of disabled, elderly and vulnerable people to live the lives they choose, as independently as possible.
Commenting on his involvement, Paul said, “Enham Trust's values mirror our own at ABL so it will be a pleasure to try and raise as much as I can for them to deliver their vision”
"Determined: We have a can-do and driven to make change"
"Passionate: We are devoted to the cause"
"Influential: We speak up and lead the way"
"Agile: We are responsive and flexible"
