Office furniture accessories company offer desking equipment to local school.

ABL worked in conjunction with Meadowside Primary School by offering a range of used desks, chairs and storage units for their classrooms and staff room.

ABL’s head office based in Wellingborough unfortunately flooded in September 2019 and all staff members had to work in a temporary office until the work environment improved. ABL worked with a new company named Desk Buzz who supplied them with range of desks, office chairs and storage units. ABL wanted to completely revamp their office to become a working showroom rather than just a “work space”. This objective was met and the team at ABL moved back into head office in December 2019.

Recycling and supporting the local community are two key areas ABL are continuing to support and whilst new office furniture was installed in ABL’s office, they had a lot of used furniture to recycle. After they had many offers to collect the furniture, ABL decided to work with Meadowside Primary School by providing them with a range of office chairs, scalloped desks and storage units for their class rooms and staff room.

“Thank you ABL UK for your recent donation of excellent quality office furniture.  The furniture has enhanced the working environment at Meadowside for teaching and support staff.  We are extremely grateful for the support of ABL UK, a local business in Wellingborough and other local businesses and charities”.  Josie Garnham, Head Teacher, Meadowside Primary School.

ABL have also worked with Wellingborough’s homeless shelter. They’ve been supporting the Wellingborough Homeless Forum since early 2018 after they heard about this community-led initiative from an employee.  The Forum is made up from local organisations and individuals who, among other work, provide a roaming night shelter. ABL have also worked to help raise money for Enham Trust and Save The Children to name a few.
